Woke up at sunrise in Matemwe, Zanzibar to catch the light… and made a new friend.  What a day.

Off the wall in downtown Stone Town.

My Masaii buddies in Stone Town, Zanzibar.  A lot of them come from their villages around Arusha to sell jewlery and try to make some money.  These guys were the funnest, soft spoken, cool guys I think I had met on my trip and we had a great time just chatting about our lives as I hung out in the shade with them to escape the mid-day heat.

My laptop has basically run out of space from storing so many photos and videos so I am kind of overwhelmed as to what I should post up here today, my final full day in Zanzibar, but here is one shot from our Dhow trip on the coast of Zanzibar the other night. Man am I going to miss the light here.  Everyone photographer I know who has ever been here knows what I am talking about.  There is some indescribable beauty to it.
