My good friends Kyle and Taryn of Savoury Chef Foods do some amazing work. Every time I get the chance to photograph one of the events or weddings they cater, I am not alone in being blown away by how good their food is. A mixture of Amrit’s Sikh culture, and Serban’s Romanian heritage, there were two ceremonies and receptions, a mid-day beard shave for Serban, and a lot of great family and friends. Congrats Amrit + Serban!

Ashley and Jason had a fantastic wedding at the Secret Cove Rockwater Resort on the Sunshine Coast.

I couldn’t have asked for anything more from Peter & Erin’s wedding. Great weather, a fantastic couple, amazing friends, and a perfect venue at the UBC Boathouse in Richmond. Taking photos of these two was so fluid and natural I had a heck of a job editing through the thousands of photos, just to find my favourites. There are so many! Congrats Erin and Pete, I consider myself lucky to have the two of you as friends.

Amrit and Serban are my kind of people. When we were brainstorming ideas of where to shoot engagement pictures, they asked if it would be possible to do the photos on top of the Chief in Squamish. I believe my reply was “Heck yes!” As a guy who likes to get up there and hike the Chief at least once every couple of weeks, I was ecstatic to kick myself out of bed bright and early and ride my motorcycle up from Vancouver on the Sea-to-Sky highway on a bright and beautiful Monday morning. Coming down into Squamish and seeing the beautiful dawn light coming through behind that big hunk of granite, I knew it was going to be a great day. Here are the photos, thanks you two for being such an awesome couple and a pleasure to spend time with!

My friends Tony + Robyn were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in rural New Jersey. I was overjoyed to be able to fly out and photograph their day. Good people, good weather, good times. My kind of day.
