Well it was a long and interesting day. I was assigned by the Globe and Mail to photograph Libby Davies in Vancouver East and Ujjal Dosanjh in Vancouver South.  Such an interesting day in Canadian politics, the virtual destruction of the Liberal Party and the Bloc Quebecois, the rise of the NDP, and Elizabeth May winning her riding, the first for a Green MP. And, also of note, the Conservative majority. Le sigh.

On Saturday I cruised back to Vancouver from a short two-day holiday down in Washinton state to photograph the Terminal City Rollergirls Championship Bout for The Globe & Mail. It was an action-packed night, was fun to photograph and looked like the crowd had a great time. The photos were for the front of The Globe’s BC Section yesterday.
