ELECTION DAY.
Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011Well it was a long and interesting day. I was assigned by the Globe and Mail to photograph Libby Davies in Vancouver East and Ujjal Dosanjh in Vancouver South. Such an interesting day in Canadian politics, the virtual destruction of the Liberal Party and the Bloc Quebecois, the rise of the NDP, and Elizabeth May winning her riding, the first for a Green MP. And, also of note, the Conservative majority. Le sigh.
