Recent sexual harassment allegations by a well-known RCMP spokeswoman, the botched Robert Pickton Investigation, the shooting of Ian Bush,  the Robert Dziekanski tasering death, and today&#8217;s article explaining the force is becoming excessively bureaucratized: <a href="http://tgam.ca/DHjK">http://tgam.ca/DHjK</a></p>

<p>Canopy executive director Nicole Rycroft holds a copy of Margaret Atwood&#8217;s new book, <em>In Other Worlds: SF and the Human Imagination</em>.  The limited-edition book is printed on material made entirely of wheat straw, flax straw and recycled content.  As the brainchild of Vancouver-based environmental group Canopy, the limited edition is designed to showcase the viability of wheat and flax straw as alternative sources of fibre for fine paper. Sept 14, 2011 &#8211; Burnaby, BC &#8211; Ms. Gan’s son Jeffrey, now 19, is autistic and non-verbal.
